My bf and I have been together for a year and a half. He knows Christmas is my favorite time of the year and made sure it was great last year. This year I've been excited as it has been approaching but then several unpredictable things happened and his financial situation is now tight this month and he is stressed about it. I've been thinking about telling him not to worry about Christmas gifts because I don't want him to stress about that too and I don't need gifts to enjoy Christmas. But I don't know if I should because I don't know if it will upset or embarrass him because he is always in a pretty good financial place it's just some things came up this month. I understand it but just wouldn't want to hurt his feelings by saying something. Also I was already planning on getting him some things but if I tell him not to worry about gifts should I forget my gifts too? I would appreciate any feedback.
