is it normal to be pumping this much within 15 mins?

I literally pump almost 10 ounces altogether during every pump session. Is it normal to be pumping this much?

I pump after I feed my newborn every three hours. And I've never pumped past 20 mins because I always end up filling up both bottles.

I would just also watch and mention your pumping/feeding pattern to a lactation consultant only because you can cause a formilk/hindmilk imbalance. The formilk is mostly water and gets rid of thirst while hind milk has all the good fat and nutrients in it that baby needs to grow and be full. If baby is only getting formilk and you are pumping all the hind milk it could cause slow weight gain and other issues for you.

Just something I've learned, store them in smaller portions. Don't freeze the whole 5 oz in one bag. Split them into 1, 2, or 3 oz portions. I didn't do this, and now I've got a bunch of 5 oz bags where some goes to waste because she only eats 4 oz at a time.

Seems normal to me! I hardly ever pump but when I do I get 4-5 oz in less than 10 minutes on one boob so if I were to do the others boob I'd get about 10 oz in about 10-15 minutes!

Yes it is! Milk is crazy during newborn stage. I would get 8-10oz within 5 minutes in the beginning
