opinions please : co sleeping
Hello. Before anyone bashes me I'm a FTM so I'm new at all this. Also I want to preface this by saying my daughter wears her owlet monitor at all times (a device that monitors heart beat and oxygen levels) so we would be alerted if anything were amiss. I also put her where she cannot roll off the bed.
She is 13 days old and the only thing that comforts her to sleep at night is to be in the bed with us. I don't sleep well at all due to being hyper aware of where she is and how she's doing. She sleeps like an angel - the second I put her in the bassinet she screams bloody murder and will not calm down until she's in the bed next to me or skin to skin.
I don't personally believe newborns can be manipulative or spoiled. I think she's too young for cry it out. Any experienced moms have this same issue? Did your LO grow out of it?
