Baby won't implant?! HELP!

Just found out I have a SUBMUCOSAL  fibroid, meaning it's a fibroid that is right on the lining of my uterus where a baby would implant itself. Really hoping that this is the reason why I haven't gotten pregnant within the 2 years I've been trying. I am scheduled to have surgery in a couple months. Any other women who's dealt with this or is dealing with it now? Any success stories with the fibroid being removed? All stories welcome! I'm a little nervous and anxious. Thanks.
