Drinking and Breastfeeding

How do you go about drinking while breastfeeding? My husband's birthday is coming up and I'm not sure if I actually will feel like it but I might drink since we plan on going out for it. Is there a certain amount of time to wait before feeding the baby when you finish drinking? Are you supposed to pump some out and throw it out? I never do anything like this but since it's a special occasion I may want to with the hubby.
