"spoiling baby"

I'm so annoyed right now. My baby is 5 weeks old and I'm basically her sole caregiver as her dad isn't able to hold her because he's had a seizure. She's going through a growth spurt I'm sure so she only wants to sleep in my arms or beside me in bed. Tonight my parents came over and I was holding her as she slept. My mom started going off about how I'm spoiling her then my SO started saying she was right. I find it funny that all the people who aren't caring for her at all are the ones telling me how to parent. There is no way I will let her cry if she needs me. I pick her up as soon as she begins fussing. Whoever invented "spoiling a baby" I have a bone to pick!
