not had a cervix check yet. 38 weeks along

So it's only today that I am 38 weeks along and all the tests done at the midwives appointments go extremely well. Then I stumble upon the ladies on this app on the January Babies section saying they know how dilated they are etc which kind of makes me panic in a way. Is it bad that they haven't yet checked me out like that ? I do have an appointment a week on monday
