tampons

Okay, so I'm 15 and I started my period if say about 2 years ago. Ever since then I've used pads, because tbh tampons kind of scare me. But I've wanted to start using tampons because I feel like I'd be able to do more. So basically I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on like what brand or kind to start using at first?
