Birth Story From Hell

E
Came into the hospital on the 17th to be induced. Since I was only dilated 1cm, they proceeded to try to get a balloon catheter in me to help dilate overnight. They tried with 3 different size cranks before getting the right one (ouch) then once they seen my uterus was still posterior they couldn't fit the catheter in there. That was so painful. They ended up putting in cervidil overnight instead. Morning comes I'm only at 2cm now. So they started pitocin. I walked, bounced on the balls, everything and they kept increasing my doseage every half hour and nothing. What a waste of a day! So that night they could finally get the balloon in since the cervidil made my uterus get more into position. By morning I was at a 4 finally and they started pitocin again, increasing my doseage every half hour. I upped my game this day and did as much as I could to kickstart labor. They ended up breaking my water at 6pm on the second day to help speed things up. Shortly after breaking the water during being checked the baby had merconium in there now! Great. Pitocin ran overnight (while I was on pitocin this whole time too I couldn't even eat or drink so that made labor that much more difficult too) Epidural was absolutely necessary as the only thing I could feel was sciatic nerve pain! Can't even explain how bad that pain is.  In the middle of the night it kept coming back on super strong so the anesthesiologist had to give me more about 3 times!  By 915am I was at a 10 and ready to go. Of course more sciatic pain. I pushed through it and got the baby off the nerve so I was able to push my hardest. Had an internal monitor up me plus a catheter too, which made everything worse bc more pressure down there. I tried every position through all the puking, pain, and heartache when they kept saying he was only at the pelvis still 4 hours later. They kept telling me to keep going but the sciatica was back. I threw in the towel and had to get them to agree to a c section. At 2:39pm on Dec. 20th he was finally born! 8lbs14oz 22in he finally came a week late. The doctor then told me oh well he was in a cockeyed position he definitely wasn't going to come out. Omg I was so mad that they kept pushing me yet I told them something was wrong!
He's now lost 11% of his body weight and super fussy he won't latch on well. No sleep but we're taking it one day at a time.
