How accurate was your 3rd tri growth scan?

I had one yesterday, 35 weeks, they said baby is 7lbs 8 oz right now, that she will likely be over 10 lbs at my due date.

Just wondering how accurate other peoples were, if you had one?

I was scanned a day before I was to be induced. They estimated him at around 8 pounds but said he probably wouldn't be that big because they usually estimate high. Well he was over 9 pounds.

They are usually never accurate. I would subtract about a pound each week, so otf its saying 7lbs shes probably more about 5.5 or 6 lbs now

I was always told they could be off by a couple pounds in either direction. My daughter's scan at 36 ended up predicting her birth weight is just under 7 pounds. I thought she was going to turn out to be a whopper! 😹

I have heard to estimate +- a pound from what they say.

I wonder if some machines are more accurate than others? I was hoping to have an early growth scan at my appointment yesterday since I've been measuring big (but have only gained 12 pounds at 29w1d) but the doctor didn't even measure my fundal height. We heard the heartbeat and he was apparently satisfied with that. 😒

They estimated 7lb at birth he was 6lb 12oz

They told me 7 lbs with my daughter and she was 5 lbs 13 oz

They told me about 10lbs and he was 9lbs 10ozs so pretty close

Mine was actually pretty accurate.  They were only 2 ounces off with their estimate
