As far as I know it's the result of your blood pressure dropping because of the epidural/spinal. It has happened to me in each one of my births.

It's from the meds. I had this during a vaginal delivery after my epidural. My nurse called it labor shakes.

Shaking usually is a sign of the iv fluids being pushed quickly. I shake/tremble anytime iv fluids are pushed too quick. They also said being cold is typical.

I was freezing!!!! And I was shaking cause I was so cold (I assume) they covered me with tons of warm blankets. It was heavenly lol

I was shaking right after my surgery but it went away after an hour or so and never felt cold i don't think

Oops I forgot I did shake, but not until I was in the recovery room, but I was very warm, the spinal block felt like a warm blanket, it was actually really nice. The shaking was weird, it was like a constant cold shiver without being cold or able to really stop.
