I'm going to marry him

We've had tough times, I mean who hasn't in five years right?! But recently there's some things he's said/done that make me know I'm going to marry this man and keep him all to myself. 

I suffer clinical depression and I've been feeling more down recently, so one day I was particularly down and I had to go to work for the evening (I'm a care assistant for the elderly). I came out of work feeling run down but I walk into the kitchen to see he had made me my favourite cupcakes to cheer me up, red velvet! 

Then the following week a parcel arrived for him, knowing it was probably a Christmas present I didn't open it. He got home and said he'd bought me a little something and I could open it. I'm starting nursing school next month, and I'm really nervous about it! He had got me this charm for my bracelet out of nowhere, I was so surprised by this gesture! 

We've had our ups and downs, we've been through some things that would end a lot of relationships but we're still going strong. I can't wait to marry this man, he's my rock and I don't know how I could have the opportunities I do without his selflessness and hard work. It's thanks to him we now have our own place and a little cat, that I can even afford to go to nursing school and that we can live the way we do. I can't wait for him to put a ring on it to make that a reality. 💕
