Car seat for 27$!!

So I got a 3 in 1 safety first carseat at K-Mart for only 27$ (5-100lbs.) , it's a great deal but just curious if any moms suggest the car seats that are detachable while the baby is still young and not as easy to get in and out of the car? I'm a first time mom so just curious what you guys think!
