I was induced on Wednesday morning due to BP going up and down the day before at my regular doctors appointment. Wednesday was a very looonnggggg day I wasn't able to eat as soon as they started the pitocin (ate at 8:30 am checked in at 11:45 am) so that from there was already going to be drag.. cause I LOVE to eat lol but anyway the day went on I was having contractions but it felt like mild period cramps, I was 3 cms dilated when I was checked in. I took some naps here and there and was checked again for dialation and went to 4 cms still was handling contractions perfectly fine. Until my RN came in at around midnight with the on-call doctor and was like "idk how you're not feeling these contractions and your laughing a lot let's get you going and in some pain" 😐😐 so the doctor did another check/strip my membrane and I kid you not it was the WORST pain I ever felt like my labor was less intense than that pelvic exam.. so he did his exam and said I was 4.5, her head wasn't down to the cervix enough to break the water.. by this time it was 2 am the contractions began to hurt a little more and I'm watching my boyfriend and mom snore their lives away, while me already hungry, exhausted, in pain began to cry. The RN mistake it for pain and called the anesthesiologist for the epidural lol I denied the epidural and tried to fall asleep. Woke up the next morning at around 7:30 ish and started the process again but this time I had the best RN and doctor on duty. My doctor came in at 9:30 and said since I was on the last bag they could give me of the pitocin and I was about 5 cm she was going to give my cervix and I a break, I was finally able to shower and eat again and go for a walk 😩🙌🏾🙌🏾 so I did just that ! Lol after I was done she broke my water which didn't hurt at all but the REAL contractions began right away and girlllssss that was NO JOKE. I immediately begged for the epidural after like 3 or 4 contractions. Finally the anesthesiologist came in, kicked everyone out including my boyfriend (he was pissed) for about 30 mins to sterilize me and get me hooked to the epidural because I have scoliosis it took him awhile to find a good place to put it in. Once that was done my mom, mom in law, and boyfriend came in and that epidural put me right to sleep.. snoring and everything lol I woke up hour and half later and was checked again and I was 6.5 cm took another nap and was checked two hours later I jumped up to 9 cms. Then 45 mins later I could feel her head coming in and out I called the RN and she said okay it's time I was a full 10 cm, the RN called the doctor right away by this time it was 5 pm. The doctor came in and was like whoa okay I see her head let's do this I did one push and the doctor said ok ok hold on let me get my things ready she's right there and told me to hold the push. I held it for like 5 mins and said I have to go again I pushed two more times and there she was 😊😊... I was in labor for a total of 5 hrs and pushed for 3.5 mins and princess Savannah was out 💕. Weighing in at 6 lbs 6 oz 20 inches long
