Sleep changes by night??

Question

Our 9 week old LO sleeps 8 hours straight most nights, but will randomly sleep 6 straight then 7 before going back to 8 a night. Any other mommies dealing with this/know why this changes? By no means complaining, she's an amazing sleeper, but the variability is frustrating!

At least you're not on a 2-4 hour schedule like my 9 week old. Every once in awhile we get 5. They probably just get hungry at different times 😩

Yeah, every once in a while we'll get a 2-3 hour stretch. But mostly hes up every 40 minutes. Also, sometimes he'll go back to sleep after 40 if we give pacifier, other times he's up for quite a while terrorizing the village. Definitely still very inconsistent sleep patterns!

My little lady does the same thing. She can go anywhere from 5-9 hours straight. Usually we get 6-8 hours on average. I think it has to do with how hungry they are. Whenever she wakes up she is very hungry.  She gets changed and fed and goes right back to sleep. She's 10 weeks.
