Rant: SIL baby #2 christmas announcement

Couldnt get out of my parents house fast enough tonight when my Brother, his wife and their 1yr old stopped by.. to announce that baby number 2 is on the way. Total gut punch. It happens with no effort for them.. and there me and my husband sit, 3.5 years trying... just speechless.

My husband avoided all eye contact with me the remainder of the time because he knew I was about to crumble. But luckily I held it in until we got in the car.

Unfortunately they are stopping by monday again for a few hours. So I am gunna have to struggle through that too. Is Christmas over yet? Cant it just be tuesday?

Yes I am happy for them. I love them and love their kid to death, and will love the hell outa this next one.

Yeah I am jealous. I am allowed to be.
