No presents?

So I was scrolling through my Facebook and Instagram liking everyone's Christmas pictures and videos when I saw a picture of a little boy crying and the caption basically said he was bad all year so everyone agreed not to get him presents. Would you guys ever do that? If your child was acting up all year being disrespectful, getting into fights, getting bad grades, etc would you just not get them anything for Christmas? Did your parents do that with you or your sibling? Idk if I could do that it must hurt watching everyone open their presents while you get nothing especially being a kid.
