My Little Rainbows are Here
My little rainbow babies made their way into this world on Monday, December 19th. They were expected to arrive on Friday, December 23, but mommy went to her 37 week OB appointment and was sent directly to the hospital due to high BP and trace proteins in my urine. Arrived at the hospital around 11:15am and was hooked up to monitors for me and babies and had labs drawn for pre-eclampsia. Even though BPs leveled out blood work was borderline and my OB decided that it was time for my babies to come out. 
Due to labor and delivery being so hectic they were unable to schedulemy C-section until 9pm and even that looked iffy. I was admitted to the high risk maternity ward and my OB who said that Monday was the only day she couldn't delivery me ended up being there for me.
At 8:30 they prepped me and at about 9:15pm I went to the OR. Baby A came out at 9:47pm. Our first little girl, Claire Malia and Baby B followed closely behind at 9:49pm. Our second little girl, Brynn Elizabeth. Both happy and healthy little babies. Born at 37 weeks and 3 days. No NICU time necessary.
They are absolutely beautiful. Can't get enough of them.
