Stupid doctor won't listen...

In my job we get to save up our sick time and I have over 400 hours saved. I want to burn most of these hours so that I can bond with my newborn. But the stupid doctor from Kaiser Hoapital wrote me an off work order for only 6 weeks. I told the doctor that my job allows me to take up to 12 weeks off so long as I have to sick hours saved up but he refused to write me a new off work order.

Is there anyone who has had this problem?

I have my postpartum appointment in a few days, and I plan on asking for more time off again.

Whay can I say to try and get the doctor to give me more time of? Should I try to say I'm suffering from pospardum depression? Or that I'm still in pain.

I know it's bad to lie, but I have no choice. I worked hard to save up all those sick hours so that I could use them once I finally had a baby and it's not fair that a stupid doctor is keeping me from using them. My own supervisor wants me to use my sick hours to enjoy my baby but he can't do anything for me without a doctor's note. :(
