Babys born early without NICU?

Question

This is my third baby with my others born 10 years ago. Since then term pregnancy has changed. My daughter was born at 36 weeks and considered full term with no health problems. My question is has anyone had a 35-37 weekish baby that had no NICU time? Im just worried since times have changed if I do have her early she might have to stay until due date.

I work for a hospital and have seen some 34/35/36 week babies go home after the normal 2 days without a NICU stay. Age doesn't determine NICU, the baby's health does.

My baby girl was born 12/12/16 @37 weeks and 3 days. She was quite small 5 pounds 3 ounces, and 18 inches long. We stayed for 4 days, no nicu time (i also had a c section so was there longer anyway). She was jaundice so stayed under the lights for a day and a half, but was otherwise perfectly healthy.

I had my son at 35 weeks, he didn't spend any time in the nicu. I had a c section so we went home after 3 days I think. They just monitored his temp and blood sugars.

My baby was born at 37 weeks but measuring inside at only 32 weeks. I was induced since she was no longer growing in the womb. She was born 4lbs 11oz and I got to take her home in two days. She had no nicu time and was fine

I had my son at 36w5d and he didn't spend any time in the NICU.. they did monitor his blood sugar for 24 hours and he had to pass a car seat test. Other than that he was treated as a healthy full-term baby and we left after 2 nights!

my first was born at 37 weeks, we were in the hospital 5am Friday and discharged Sunday morning. I think now they consider 37 weeks term.

I've had 2 babies now born at 37 weeks, one just being last year. We were released from the hospital in 24 hours.

A friend of mine had twins a few days before hitting 37 weeks (this was 3 or 4 years ago, before they changed full term to 39 weeks. It was 37 weeks then.) They made the babies pass the tests that NICU babies have to pass (like the car seat test), and they were taken to the NICU to be checked out, but they were fine and didn't stay there. They were brought back to the mom's room and were treated like regular babies at that point.
