I had my first BH contraction this past weekend. In the middle of the night I woke up and it felt as though my abdominal area was squeezing toward my belly button. It didn't hurt but took me by surprise. When I woke up I just said "Oh..." kind of inquisitively.

What's funny is my husband has started waking up at the drop of a hat since I became pregnant. Naturally when I said "Oh" he was wide awake fretting over me asking what was wrong. I told him nothing, I was fine.

I fell right back asleep and the poor thing was like monitoring me on and off throughout the rest of the night. He will never get any sleep but he will be the best dad. I'm so lucky.
