Rude or no big deal?

Out of curiosity, do you believe it's rude when your mother in law, or anyone for the matter just takes your baby from your arms without asking?

One time my mother in law was holding my daughter and she was about 3 months well my daughter was crying and she couldnt get her to stop so i went to go grab her to comfort her because come on now mommies always make them feel better well she wouldnt give her to me and just kept saying she was fine!! I let it go and walked away but my SO heard from me later. My mother in law from the day my daughter was born has insisted that i let her cry it out.. needless to say that grandma didnt watch her often because i didnt want my daughter crying it out until she was older and understand that no means no. Sorry it this was long it just reminded me of that and now im about to have another baby in 2 weeks and i hope i dont have to do that all over again or i might lose it! Lol
