Natural Birth?

Question

Who plans to do natural birth?  Who has?  Why?  What did you do or what are you doing to prepare for it?

I have had natural births with all three of my kids and plan to have this one natural too.

My first was all natural, no intervention or medications. I didn't let Dr break my water and asked for minimal monitoring and cervix checks. What helped me the most was learning to breathe and relax. I practiced breathing before baby was born and used it when I had braxton hicks, felt anxiety, or even stubbed my toe ☺. 
I truely believe that deep, relaxing breathing is important. Also staying upright whether pacing, walking, or leaning on something and rocking my hips helped keep labor going and was less painful then laying down. I labored at home until contractions were 1 minutes apart and had baby 4 hours after arriving at the hospital. I didn't lay down until I was ready to push - actually I tried laying down at first but found it was more painful so i remained upright the rest of the time. With my second I plan to do the same only I'd like to give birth upright too using a squatting bar or stool. 
I also used mental tricks like telling myself "just one more centimeter" or "just one more minute" when a contraction hit. The pain is there literally for the duration of the contraction then you get a pain free break so if you just get through one contraction at a time and tell yourself that this won't last forever you can do it. My nurse was amazing too she'd see a contraction coming and say "just 60 seconds" then she'd count in big chunks "59, 43, 30, 25..." that helped too. Your body was meant for this! You can do it! Breathe deeply and let your instincts take over.

First birth was natural no epidural i was happy about that and with this one due March im hoping and praying im dealt with the same luck of going natural ❤️

I have a really high pain tolerance (drs have said).  I've also had issues where the normal amount of pain killers for me haven't worked.  I had my impacted wisdom teeth removed without painkillers.  So I'm kind of just thinking about it now, I'm only 14 weeks so I have time.

I'm due in April and 100% plan on natural. I like the idea of being able to move around as much as I need to and letting gravity help baby get into position, instead of laying down in a hospital bed for several hours.

With my first I planned to do natural as long as I could but ultimately got an epidural because I was unsure. With my second I didn't have time for an epidural thus proving I could do without. So with my third I was induced and knew what to expect so another natural birth. To be honest, I didn't do a lot to prepare. Each pregnancy has had its own amount of exercise or lack of. I never took a birthing class or anything like that. I trust my doctor, I have the support of my husband and I pray a lot.

I had my second natural birth 13 days ago. I would choose natural every single time. There is no need for me to be pumped full of chemicals unless I needed surgery.

Had natural with my first. I took a childbirth class just to ease some fears. One thing that was helpful to learn to focus was to hold a cold can  of soda in your hand and breathe in a rhythm until you were so focused on that that you didn't feel the cold in your hand anymore. I plan on a natural with this one as well.
