TMI! Labor Sign?

Question

I've heard of people say they have diarrhea before going into labor, but I'm having normal poops. Just more than usual. I get the feeling in my stomach like it was diarrhea, but it's just normal poop.. could this be the same thing? I'm 38 weeks tomorrow.

Not to discourage you but I've had diaherra  (REAL diaherra) for weeks now and nothing yet 38 weeks as well

I only poop every 2-4 days and the week I went into labor I pooped (normal) at least twice a day!

I think it's just a part of pregnancy in general

No , I had that for 3 weeks and went full term with my son. But everyone is different.  When labor comes you will know it's worse than any period you've ever had .

If you are experiencing tightening of your stomach, and is painful and intermittent, it may be a sign your in labor. Best thing I can tell you, go to labor and delivery to find out for sure. Don't wait for someone on here to give medical advice. I've had 5 babies, and it was totally different each time. I hope I'm not scaring you. But if you think you may be going into active labor, you should definitely call the dr or at least call labor and delivery, just to explain your symptoms. They're the only ones who can truly help you out here. Good luck sweetie!!
