prenatal vitamins without iron??

Question

I was taking rainbow lights one a day vitamin but my stomach couldn't hold them down. I switched to women's one a day prenatal gummies and I haven't had one upset stomach with them. However they do not include iron, is this okay?? Anyone else not taking iron? Help ladies!!

You definitely need iron. You have A LOT more blood now. Ask your doctor about adding an iron supplement :)

I took the gummies without iron and found out I was anemic around 27 weeks so I'm now taking an iron supplement and a prenatal with iron. I'd highly suggest adding iron.

Iron is one of the more common things to be deficent in- ask your OB and they can either test you or go over past tests.
I take a prenatal and a separate iron suppliment because i can't keep down the prenatals that have it included, but I have a history of low iron so i know I need it.

My blood work showed low iron (which is fairly common) so I take an iron supplement as well as a multivitamin with iron.

I was anemic so my doc told me to get the slow  release iron supplements. Be sure to eat fiber rich foods too as to help with constipation caused from the iron!

Mine do not have iron so I take an iron pill as well.
