anyone else's baby measuring behind?

26 weeks and baby is measuring 2 weeks and a couple days behind. My high risk ob believes it to be from my high blood pressure. Any other ladies having a similar issue?

Mine is! I'm pretty further along than you 38W•4D now. Although baby's small/slow growth wasn't noticed until my 35 Week Appointment, she was measuring 2 Weeks small at 4lbs 12oz.

They were leaning to it being my placenta "dying off" but I've have 2 ultrasounds where they check it & everything ... & everything is working 100% - so they think its just a small baby for me, which they said is okay & normal!

Since 35 Weeks I have been having NST Scans twice a week, & I've had 3 extra ultrasounds! One was with a high risk doctor at 37 Weeks where again baby looked great, just small. & at that ultrasound she went from 2 Weeks small to a week and a half small, so small improvements & now weighs 5lbs 8oz

Since you have a lot of time left my advice is up your protein intake & calories. That's what the high risk doctor told me!

This happened to me when I was pregnant. I had gestational hypertension which caused my placenta not to transfer nutrients correctly. Eventually my baby was diagnosed with IUGR and I was induced at 37 weeks. She was tiny (5lbs) but perfectly healthy! No NICU time or anything.
