date of ovulation using OPK

So this month, I used Clear Blue Advanced opk and got my solid smiled on 12/17. It stayed solid for 48 hours and then disappeared by the 19th. My question is if I want to update my other Ap with the date of my ovulation, what day should I record? Doesn't the solid smiley indicate that I will over late soon, or that I'm ovulating? Help!
