do braxton hicks feel like period cramps? i'm a few days over 35 weeks and it felt like i was getting period cramps between my hips but my stomach wasn't tightening so i know it wasn't contractions

I get these "period cramps" as well. All day on Christmas i kept feeling them so much i couldnt get comfortable enough to eat much of anything. But it eventually passed

My contractions during active labor felt like extreme period cramps. When I was 37 weeks I was having contractions but couldn't feel them either they just showed up on the monitor.

It can, but if you're having a lot of period cramps I'd call your doctor

Your entire uterus will get rock hard for a few seconds. I've had a few and some were totally without discomfort and some ached similar to a period (but very very mild)
