What does it feel like/sound like when your water breaks?

Might be a silly question but I'm not sure as I'm a FTM but any info would be great. Also does it hurt when your water breaks?

Mine had to be broken in the hospital but it was a rush of warm water and really felt like I peed myself!

It was very warm, almost hot- I was 7cm dilated in labor when mine broke, I thought I peed myself til my BF reminded me I had a catheter in

Mine started to trickle at first , then around 5 hours later they popped , it's a strange feeling it didn't hurt but I definitely new they had gone , good luck x
