misunderstanding??

I posted a poll earlier asking about electronic fetal monitoring and the safety of it and I forgot to ask the safety of external monitoring not internal. That being said is external electronic monitoring safe? Thank you so much ladies

I asked my midwife this too, my boy goes mad every time they use a monitor, apparently it amplifies sounds in their for them too and they don't like it but completely harmless
