A few weeks ago at our sons anomoly scan, they found a cyst in his brain. There were no other problems with any other part of his body or organs, but the doctor wasn't very nice about it. He said the the cyst is a marker for Trisomy 18, but that was it. He just said that if we waited another 4 weeks we wouldn't be able to terminate the pregnancy. All my research has mixed findings, with it being a very common found in babies with trisomy 18, but by itself is not something to worry about. Has anyone else had this with their pregnancy and what was the outcome?
