How do I track my temperature?

I bought the termometer and plan on tracking my temperature this month. AF is over tomorrow. What's the normal temperature and what should be looking for? I already track my CM but don't use ovulation kits. Thanks for taking the time to help a sister out. 😘🙏

You have to temp at the exact same time every single day & chart. You can't get up out of bed or do anything. If you move, it'll affect your temp. If you get up at 3 am to pee & temp at 6, your temp will be off too.

Basically leave the thermometer on your night stand, roll over when you wake up, temp & record it. You won't see a pattern until you temp for a while. It's a pain but if you get into a routine, it's not that bad.

I temped at 5:40 every single morning. On the weekend, I just woke up to temp and went back to sleep!

I highly recommend downloading Fertility Friend and starting the free lessons. It will teach you everything you need to know to accurately track ovulation. It's incredibly helpful. Also make sure you have a BBT themometer. You can temp under your tongue or vaginally. I did it vaginally because I was getting inaccurate readings under my tongue because I sleep with a fan on my face and sometimes breath through my mouth.
