Has anyone else had this problem with their baby shower?

My invites have been sent and I am sure have been received, but only 1-2 people have replied. I don't want to pester people, but I'd still like to know who is going to show.

How much time until your shower? Id inquire around 2 weeks before the event explaining that you need a head count for food and drink

Did you give people a date to rsvp by? If not, then you won't necessarily get responses early. More likely at the last minute.

I would follow up like the other poster said. It can be so hard to get people to rsvp for anything.

Definitely not doing a baby shower next time. The whole thing was nothing but a hassle. People just don't have commons sense anymore.

If you didn't specify to RSVP, people probably won't. I didn't put it on my invites and I only had 3 or 4 people tell me they were coming but I had a turnout of about 30 people

This is also why I kept my list to basically just family on both sides and if friends and great but I didn't count on it
