I hadn't had a period in 11 months and knew something was wrong

My sister, age 22 found out she was pregnant with twins in June. She is due Valentine's Day and her babies look to be perfect. While I am so happy for her, it hurts me everyday to see her belly, walk past her nursery, and hear everyone congratulate her and ask when ours are coming. Or worse, why we are waiting to start trying...
I hadn't had a period in 11 months and although I've always been irregular, I knew something was wrong. My husband and I had been trying for half a year when I was diagnosed with PCOS It's a mild case and we are incredibly hopeful. We found a wonderful reproductive endocrinologist who put me on progesterone. I had my first period in almost a year. A month has gone by and I am 2 days late on my period (with negative pregnancy tests) and praying that it comes so we can start on Clomid and try for our little one that we have dreamt about for so long. Here's to hoping. 💛
