Trying after depo ?

Question

So I've been on depo on & off since I was about 16. My last shot was March 2016. Idk if I'd say we are actually trying more so not doing anything to prevent getting pregnant kind of just have that if it happens it happens attitude. Does anyone have experience in TTC after depo ?

not sure if this really helps but heres my experience... was on depo for 6.5 yrs and never missed a shot or never late..my last shot was due oct 13 and I didnt get it as wanting ttc. never had a period but was taking vitamins, excercising and all, found out in mid nov that I was pregnant but sadly miscarried thanksgiving week. now ttc again. just had a very light 3 day af (first after MC) and am now trying again.. used wondfo lh test and check for cm. when I was tracking b4 I found out I was pregnant I actually had a +lh very soon after missed shot but no other ovulation symptoms so I started temping and cm checking and feel like I ovulated about 2wks later. hope this gives you some hope..

It took me a year to get pregnant but I was on depo from 2008 to 2014. But we weren't trying just having fun and now pregnant with our second child.

Iv been off deop since nov 17th and only got one dose sept 1st the doctor said it could take 6 to 9 months after to get pregnat all the way up to a year i take reproductive health vitamins an so far things are going good and we are not trying either its if it happens it happens i see the doctor nxt week for a fallow up about the depo shot since i has problems with it
