Am i the only one who thinks it's wrong for someone to tell another girl to dump their bf?

Like you're hearing only one side of the story, what the girl says and its usually bias as fuck. So unless a friend tells you something that makes you believe she's being abused or you witness something abusive you should butt out.

There are only two people who know everything about a relationship and thats the people in it.

Like if a couples fighting a lot dont tell your friends to 'dump his ass' you never know she could be the one who's starting shit or maybe they both have a lot going on.

I'm just so sick of someone seeing a one time heated argument through text, or noticing someones bf doesnt send them super long romantic messages each day and straight away labelling the relationship as bad.

I totally think that romance and excitement in a relationship is important. I mean, you want to have an appealing relationship! I recently went through a tough time with my bf and we actually broke up for a few days before we got back together. He's the one who ended it in the first place and I was heart broken. My friends were amazing and stood by me the whole time, but when my bf and I finally talked and worked things out, it was the hardest thing telling my girlfriends the news. They had just heard me talk shit about him for days, and I know they wanted to protect me, but he never cheated on me, he doesn't hurt me. We've been dating for a year, so obviously there isn't as much of a spark as there used to be, but we still love eachother. It is really hard for my friends to understand, but I totally agree. Only you can judge your relationship and how you feel.

Telling someone to dump their bf is never effective anyway. I always try to approach the situation by saying, 'this is what I would do or if you stay with him, this is what you need to work on.' Sometimes I automatically go, "red flag, run or be careful!" But to say that what they're saying about the relationship is biased....I don't know. If a girl is basically calling for help and opinions/advice, there's a reason--she knows something's not working/needs to be fixed/could be a unhealthy. And if it's bias, who are we to judge? The relationship and how its handled is based on their perception. I get where you're coming from, but at the same time, she asked for opinions and got them, some screaming leave, others not. If someone wants her to leave, that's their opinion. The person requesting advice doesn't have to listen to it. There are times where I'm like, "Whoa whoa, why would she want to leave? Over that little thing?!" And other times where I'm like, "Yep, she should leave, but let me put it in a different way and leave her with the decision to leave or stay." I don't know if I'm making sense anymore.

I think I have only told someone to leave when they have said anything about hitting. Like domestic violence. I usually just tell them that it would be something that I couldn't handle and I would have to leave and then just wish them luck.  I don't see the real point considering they probably are not going to leave because some random person on line said too.
