If you have any questions...

So, I keep seeing posts of women saying they're freaked out or scared of labor/delivery/becoming a mom. I want to just say, if any of you FTM's have a question or need advice, you can ask me. I'm not saying I'm an expert by any means, but I have been in your shoes and know what it's like. And, if I don't know what to say or aren't sure, I will be honest and tell you.

So, I'll give you my backstory on pregnancy, labor, delivery and becoming a mom.

I was 19 when I found out I was pregnant. My due date was 3/24/2016. My daughter was born exactly three weeks early, 3/3/16. She was perfectly healthy. 6 pounds, 7.8 oz, 19.5" long. I woke up in labor at 11:30 PM, contractions every 2 1/2 minutes. I waited at home until my husband came in from work, and we got to the hospital around 3:00 am. I was admitted at 6:00 am, and finally opted for the epidural at 7:30. Before they gave me the epidural, I was checked at 6 cm. After the epidural, I was 9. We had to wait about an hour for the doctor, and spent an hour pushing. Ammarie was born at 10:38 am. So, I spent less than 11 hours in labor.

So, if you have any questions or comments,or just advice, please ask me. If I can't help you, maybe another person reading can. I just don't want anybody to be afraid of this amazing experience.
