PCOS success stories?!

Any success stories of you girls with PCOS? Been trying for 2 1/2 years and no successs, no miscarriages, no positive anything! Need advice 😬

After being diagnosed with pcos over 2 years ago I recently started ttc in September 2016 and asked my doctor to try fertility treatment. She suggested I begin taking Metformin 500mg starting 1x a day and working my way to 4x a day. I started my first cycle of Metformin in September 2016 and was pregnant in November 2016. All I can say is never give up and don't loose hope. One day you will get your BFP and your life will never be the same. GOOD LUCK!!!🍀

I was diagnosed with PCOS as a young girl as well. My husband and I had been trying for 3 years and nothing. I consulted with my OBGYN and he recommended we try Clomid i did 3 cycles of Clomid no luck. I finally decided to move on and do IVF, yes it can take a toll on you emotional mentally and physically but so worth it we found out on Christmas Eve IVF worked and are prganant with our first little Nugget. I am currently 5 weeks. Baby Dust your way

I have also been diagnosed with PCOS Nov 8  and was also prescribed metformin 500mg pills on Nov 29th (1 a day for a week, 2 a day for another week and now I am up to 3 a day). I haven't had a period since Nov 4th but believe I ovulated Dec 20th so I am anxiously waiting until tomorrow to test. Although it is a diabetes medication I have definitely read and heard numerous success stories with pcos women, metformin and ttc. Before the metformin I had not experienced any signs of ovulation so I definitely am a believer that it helps. Good luck!

It took me 19 months TTC. After a year I did research and found a product called Pregnitude. It regulates periods and your mood and helps you ovulate. I highly recommend it. Also taking vit d and fish oil as well as exercising.

Same thing happened with me except with one miscarriage. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14. Now, my husband and I finally made the decision and we are seeing a fertility specialist. Definitely recommend doing that so they can run the appropriate tests to figure out what exactly needs to be done for you to have a baby.

Yes! My cousin has PCOS and has had two children! She did have the cysts removed though. I'm not sure about the details. I hope that inspires hope in you. Also! A close friend of mine was trying for eight years and last year was blessed with twins! I have one more story! My aunt was told she was too old to have kids and that she should give up...all of this by her doctor! That was a year ago and she's now a happy mum of a baby girl! All true, so don't worry. It will happen for you, just have faith in yourself and be happy. I know stress has a negative impact on the body. 😊

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago now. And was told it was very unlikely I'd conceive without help! We started trying in april'16... we where at it like ramping rabbits, everyday even twice a day sometimes and by August'16 I had a positive pregnancy test!!
I didn't even change my diet severely, just had very positive thoughts it would happen when my body was ready!
I'm now just over 23 weeks with a healthy baby girl!
All I would say is have positive thoughts and when your body is ready it will happen. Try not get down about it, there is always help out there and various paths you can go down to achieve what you want.

We decided we wanted to start trying around February 2015. I was diagnosed with PCOS because I always have been irregular. I would bleed 3 months straight and then not have a cycle for the rest of the year or even longer.  After talking with my doctor at my first visit, right away he decided we would try fertility treatments. He prescribed me a pill to give me a period (forgot the name of it) and he also prescribed me Clomid (fertility pill) to take on certain days of my cycle. I did that and we conceived on March 1st on the first round of Clomid with our first child and he was born November 2015. 👶🏾

If you have been trying for so long have you gone to the doctor for some medications to help? Cookie or ivf treatments? Have you figured out why you're not getting pregnant? There are things you can do if you have PCOS.
