How can you not try?

I've heard several people saying that "You'll get pregnant when you stop trying".... the thing is when you want something like this so much, there is no such thing as not trying. You can act like you're not trying but way down deep, the hope to conceive this time is there! There's no stopping it. Anyone agree??

I almost punched this fifty year old asshole I met in the face last week cuz of this 😐. Granted she didn't know that I was well into my third year trying to convince but she told me the story of her daughter who she had at 43. She told me she had no problems conceiving and that it's all in people's heads. She said that if all women take care of themselves and just let go and we're "positive" it would happen. I was livid! Can I tell you it took me all I had not to break down and either cry or literally punch her. I was so god damn mad. She didn't know about my PCOS or my weight gain or how hard I diet and how hard I work out every damn week to see the scale slide down one or two pounds a month, or that it's been over three years, and missed periods and symptom spotting and tears and agony. She doesn't know how to read every single symptom in your body or how daily we temp, take vitamins, take ovulation and pregnancy tests. Yes we live a damn beautiful life but we have zero control over this and it sucks! NO ONE has a right to tell ANYONE "to stop trying". It's ignorant and insensitive to people you most likely don't know are fighting a battle like infertility.

Its easier said for those who never had much of an issue. But for those of us going on year 2 and 3 with no success. We have to try! Some of us have to take meds in order to ovulate. Its heartbreaking and its hard! It personally irritates me when ppl used to say it to me. If they only knew!

That has to be my biggest pet peeve... " when you stop thinking about it it will happen". That's crap lol. I know too much about how this works and it's literally science. You cant conceive if you don't have sex when you're ovulating. And some of us still can't at that. I don't know gown I would stop thinking about it if I tried.
