We live in a heavily Hispanic populated area. And my mom's parents came over from Mexico. But the grandmother im talking about is from my dad's side.... She white. So there's smaller things like on Christmas <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">eve</a> she was putting cookies out on a platter for everyone until there was only one type. So she goes "Here Kathy. There's your Mexican wedding cakes" and throws the bag at her lol. She didn't put a single one on the platter.

So THEN on Christmas I had to take her to Vons to get catfood before dinner (she doesn't drive. She can't really see anymore). It's Hella packed in there and we get in line at the register. There's someone in front of us with one item. There's a lady in front of him with a shit ton of stuff. My grandmother is also really hard of hearing but refuses to get a hearing aid. So she's complaining to me really loud that the lady won't let the guy behind her with one item go in front of her. Over and over man. And this line is long and taking forever so she said it a lot. I'm sure the lady heard. BUT after she leaves she says "wow I still can't believe that woman wouldn't let that guy go in front of her. And did you see?!! She was BLACK"

Wtfffffff. I was so embarrassed. What do you even do in that situation?😳😣

Oh yeah. And She's 94
