I don't have this but bought one that swipes forehead, ears and armpits. After my newborn had a fever and it didn't read right on it, the ER doc told me the only way to get an accurate reading in a baby/infant is rectally. I thought it would be weird to do but I bought one and a tub of Vaseline and it's really not bad at all and my daughter doesn't mind having it done. Better to be safe and do it old school while still young.

I have it. It's crap..AND it only gives temp in Celsius,  not F.

I didn't use this exact one but one similar and hated it never got a accurate reading on baby's temp

I have always used a temporal thermometer and have had no issues.
