tommee tipped prep machine

Danielle
I'm from the uk! And I've been researching the tommee tipped perfect prep machine for some time now. Is it worth the money or should I spend it elsewhere on something like clothes etc?

I bought one for my second and I honestly loved it. People think that others get it coz they're too lazy to make a bottle and let that cool, but thays not why I got it. There's nothing lazy abt watching a bottle cool it just doesn't make sense for me to have a screaming baby and wait for the bottle to be cool enough to feed coz that takes a while. The only reason I did get it tho was coz I actually just use bottled water to make the formula but hubby was a bit obsessed with it having to be boiling water so rather than argue with him I got this for my second. Also by then I knew that I prolly wouldn't have a great milk supply myself so would very likely actually be using it, obv if ur not sure and end up having an abundance of beast milk urself anyway then it might feel like waste so maybe wait till ur sure u will be needing formula perhaps? I do love mine tho...

Thanks for your advice. My partner just isn't the most confident and I can see his worry about it being the perfect temp and safe to use already. So I think the machine will just help him feel confident when's he alone with the baby! Definitely something I'm going to be looking into more! Thankyou x

But yes it's not cheap, it was actually a gift from my best friend, I was visiting the uk tho and the one that found it for her to purchase so I know it was around £79 ish, usually they're over £120 so I'd say make sure u wait for a sale. I know babies r us always seem to have a deal on this

I got one as everyone was telling me its the best thing ever, I had my baby 4 weeks ago and I've not used it once haha. But I do recommend getting one if you know you're going to use it

I've found it easier to just put boiling water in a tommee tippee flask and make the bottle with that when he wants one and then just cool the bottle In a jug, I'm just to lazy to figure out how to use the prep machine again haha xx
