Stressed beyond belief

Elena • Working mom of a 7 year old with special needs and a baby girl born in May

I have a good job. Good meaning, excellent pay and Healthcare and it's a union job, so I have many resources through them.

But, unfortunately it's very inflexible and my commute is long (80 miles one way;160 miles there and back). We were running 3 shifts, 8 hrs a shift, but in February we're reducing down a shift and I will be working from 630am-4pm. This puts a huge strain on me since my son's daycare only goes til 6pm, so if I hit a snag on my way, I might not make it in time; plus I'm almost 23 weeks pregnant and the new schedule is going to make it impossible to make even the latest Dr's appointment.

If it wasn't for the fact I make the same amount as my husband and hold the insurance, I would have taken a less paying/more flexible job or went to grad school, since my bachelor's is pretty useless.

So. Stressed. Out.
