3 Month Coat on Newborn?

Ladies do you think this will be too big for a newborn? I don't see any newborn sizes for their outerwear.. do you think 3 months mean 0-3 months? Please help 😊

You're better off with a blanket to wrap baby in and then cover with in the car.  Winter jackets shouldn't be worn in a car seat as they prevent the belts from being snug against baby.

It will probably be too big. I brought a 3 month coat to hospital for baby to wear home and it was so big the nurse said it was more dangerous for her to wear it in car seat than to not.

We're going with a full body suit. Coats on newborns just seems uncomfortable to me.  Plus I hate the idea that it can leave the midsection exposed.

3 mos is 0-3 mos on baby clothes. Took me forever to realize that whatever the # of mos is on the size, is the last month lts supposed to fit them lol.

3mos=0-3
6mos=3-6
9mos=6-9
12mos=9-12
18mos=12-18
24mos=18-24

That might be big. Depends on your baby! My 0-3 months doesn't fit my Son he is about 6 lbs, he is a new born
