Question

Ever been over 40 weeks, no dilation or progress and got induced? If so how did your labor go and your outcome?
My baby doesn't want to come and I'm almost 42 weeks so I'm getting induced Friday or Monday but I have not thinned Or dilated or anything so I'm nervous for induction....

My first was induced at 42 weeks and it took two doses of meds to get things bumping. I ended up caving in and getting the epidural around 5cm, but this time I'm 2cm and hoping to go all natural, but my booger is being a bigstinker  he's lucky he still technically has ten more days.

Currently in the hospital with my induction, came in yesterday evening at 0 high and closed... well still 0 high and closed. Will literally be starting the process over again in a few

I was induced at 42 weeks with both my babies. Some women just don't go into labour naturally. 
My first was very long, started induction Saturday afternoon and went into the labour suite on Sunday morning and had my son at 1 minute to midnight. I had a lot of pain relief so it likely slowed things down. 
Just had my second two weeks ago and it went much quicker . I took only gas and air and from la out suit to delivery was about 4 hours. Think I was only pushing for 30 minutes .

With my first I did not thin dialate or anything I had to get induced and it wasn't too bad I took pain meds that they gave me which made me sick but other than that I slept through most of it and pushed for 20-30 mins
