C-Section because of breeched baby

Hey moms.  My doctor informed me that my baby has flipped into the breeched position and I'm 37 weeks.  She had flipped head down at week 35, but for whatever reason she flipped back breeched.  I was told that they could attempt to flip her in the right position so I could deliver vaginally if successful.  If the flipping was unsuccessful, then I would have to deliver via c-section.  I am nervous about c-section because I've delivered vaginally with my other pregnancies and nervous about getting an incision because I've never had a surgery.  I am wanting to know if you have had a breeched baby and had to have a c-section or have your baby flipped?  If you have had your baby flipped, was it successful and how was the whole process?  If you've had to have a c-section because of breeched baby, how was the recovery process?  Thanks.
