Getting an IUD, I'm so scared!

I'm getting an iud tomorrow and I am so scared! I have read lots on the internet about getting them and it seems to be either really painful or not at all. I have never had sex but have been fingered by my boyfriend several times. Because I have never had sex my doctor said it could be extremely uncomfortable. Any advice, information or things I can do to ease my nerves would be appreciated
