Alopecia

Hey guys,

I don't normally ask for help on things like this but I'm desperate now.

Have any of you ever had any experience with alopecia? I have always had fine hair, and not too much of it either, but I was able to live with it. About a month ago I noticed my hair line above my ears was higher than usual and I started to become concerned. The next day I had my hair up in a bun and I was able to notice a bald spot on the back of my head at the nape of my neck. I also now notice that my side burn on my left side is very thin compared to my right side and I can see it starting to lose hair more and more there.

I understand this is not life threatening and that there are other people who have lost their hair for far more serious reasons but I'm seriously struggling with this. I am 22 and getting married in June of this year so the timing of this is less than ideal.

Any feedback on any products you have heard that worked? Or, if you have personal experience, any hope for my hair coming back ?
