Pregnant AND sick? I never knew I could make this much snot 😂

Hey girls. It's 12:48am. I'm getting up at 5 for work. But seriously I have the worst head cold. I refuse to take medicine, this is my first pregnancy and I am all the way OCD about what I put in my body. Anyone been sick and dealt with it naturally?

When I had a head cold after thanksgiving (it was awful!) I had to deal with no medicine because it always makes my bp go up. Vicks salve and a humidifier helped me a lot.

Before I got pregnant, I always cured my flu or cold in the most "natural" way I can. I don't try to jump on pills for whatever disturbances I have. I normally make sure I get enough rest. Before I go to bed, I rub some Vicks on my chest/neck, upper back and some in my nostrils as well as on the soles of my feet & I slip on a sock. That helps me sleep so good at night.

I drink ginger tea for inflammation. Make sure drink lots of liquid (water AND orange juice too) and veggie soups. That always does the trick. Everyone doesn't believe me at first when I tell them I get rid of my sickies like that but they end up trying it and it works for them too. 😂😋

I'm currently 8weeks and super full of flu, can't really take any cold and flu relation medicine or decongestants so that sucks! But I've basically been pumping my body with fruit and veg, taking vitamin C and paracetamol and I've started feeling better after only a day. You can also put Vicks on your chest which helps with your runny nose :) it's hard being pregnant and sick! I'm with you girl ❤️
