I'm so confused. I'm 36 weeks tomorrow, the last time I saw my midwife was at my 31 week checkup. She said there was no point in going back to her at 34 weeks because I was seeing the consultant and they will do all of the checks, so she said she will be calling on the 2nd jan to book my 36 week check up for around the 7th. It's the 7th tomorrow and I've had no phone call. Since the 2nd I've waited for the call but nothing. I called to try and see what was going on, turns out she's on holiday. 😲 so now I don't understand what's going on, it looks like I'm not even going to get my 36 week check up. The other midwife who I spoke to said I'm not even due to be seen until next week which I don't understand because I'm 37 weeks next week and isn't it supposed to be 34,36,38 etc? I had my 34 week check up with the consultant, my 36 week check up was supposed to be booked for tomorrow but I have no check up. We were supposed to be doing my birth plan. Don't know what I'm supposed to do. The 36 week check up is absolutely necessary right?
